Our family worked with Kris to sell our parents' home in the Shaftesbury Golf community. Kris was very knowledgeable of the area and the status of the real estate market and priced the property appropriately. She met us several times and explained the process thoroughly. She helped us with logistics to prepare the house for listing and communicated frequently. Her listing had perfect photos and highlighted key features of the property. If you are an old-time resident of Myrtle Beach you don't need my advice, but if you’re new to the area and looking to buy a property like I was, it's important to realize that the Grand Strand area is the landlord’s paradise. It seems like every second person here is a landlord and every third one is a real estate agent. So you have literally thousands of agents to choose from. Needless to say it is quite a challenge to find a good one. So, please, do yourself a favor and narrow down your candidates to the ones with a broker's license, 10+ years of experience and a long list of closed sales you can verify. And all of a sudden your candidates are very few. This approach served me well. Kris did great and I'm very pleased with my new home. At the end of the day you are making one of the biggest purchases in your life. Why hire a rookie real estate agent when for the same money you could hire an experienced broker associate like Kris?
